Jeff MacDonald
Dr. Jeff MacDonald is a cultural heritage scholar, author, educator, and specialist in traditional building materials.
For over 25 years he has remained active in the preservation and stewardship of historic built environments, and the advancement of sustainable cultural heritage programs throughout the western United States and worldwide.
As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, current research includes methods and materials of built environments, along with perspectives on traditional uses of places and spaces, and cultural landscapes as sustainable elements of healing, health, and well-being.
He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art & Design, and a PhD in Cultural Heritage & Applied Anthropology from the University of Montana, in the United States.
