José Silvestre
José Dinis Silvestre is a Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. He is a Civil Engineer with a PhD in the area of LCA of buildings. He has 15+ of experience of scientific and research activities in the field of sustainability in construction. He is a member of the research unit IST-CERIS, where he leads the Positivecycle research group, and is a co-Founder and Partner at AECycle, a IST spin-off company. Has a h-index of 40+ in Scopus and is co-author of 100+ ISI journal papers and 3 books. He has participated in research projects related to the sustainability and energy efficiency of building materials and construction assemblies with a total funding of 5.7+ M€ for IST.
